Cipla launches Mumbai’s first Breathefree Lung Wellness Center, India’s Most Advanced Integrated Lung Diagnostics Facility
Mumbai, January 27, 2026: Cipla Limited (BSE: 500087; NSE: CIPLA; and hereafter referred to as "Cipla") today announced the launch of its Breathefree Lung Wellness Center (BLWC) in Mumbai, India’s most advanced integrated lung diagnostics and wellness center. This marks the company’s second such facility, following New Delhi, and underscores Cipla’s continued focus on expanding access to comprehensive respiratory diagnostics and care. The Mumbai BLWC is equipped with cutting‐edge technology, globally benchmarked diagnostic protocols, and comprehensive Lung Health testing infrastructure aimed at making accurate, standardised, and accessible lung health assessments available to clinicians and patients in Mumbai and beyond.
Located in Mumbai’s Prabhadevi, the Center has been designed to support diagnosis across a full spectrum of respiratory conditions – from Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) to Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILDs) and other complex pulmonary disorders. It offers more than 60 specialised lung health assessments, covering pulmonary physiology, microbiology, immunology, blood chemistry, radiology, and
advanced inflammation phenotyping. Key tests include spirometry, oscillometry, FeNO, FnNO, DLCO, body plethysmography, cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), X‐ray and CT imaging, sleep studies, and a broad range of microbiology and immunology panels, delivered by highly trained technicians in line with global quality standards. Along with advanced diagnostic testing, BLWC brings patients access to rare and highly
specialised services, including Pulmonary Rehabilitation, science‐backed Pulmonary Nutrition, and comprehensive Smoking Cessation support, each designed to help individuals breathe easier, recover faster, and live healthier lives.
The Center also introduces India’s first Sputum Inflammometry Lab. Integrated within a comprehensive lung diagnostics setup, it enables clinicians to better characterise airway inflammation in Asthma, COPD and other chronic respiratory diseases, supporting more precise diagnosis, improved disease monitoring, and optimised, personalised treatment pathways.
